This Privacy Policy describes how Tilted Gaming ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information when you use the Tilted Gaming mobile application (the "App"). This policy applies specifically to the App and supplements our general website Privacy Policy at tiltedgamingtcg.com.

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Email address (used for sign-in via magic link)
  • Display name and username
  • Profile information (bio, avatar)
  • Gaming account usernames (e.g., PSN, Xbox Gamertag, etc.)
  • Score submissions and match results
  • Messages sent through the App's direct message and group chat features
  • Match dispute reports and user reports

Information collected automatically:

  • Device push notification token (used solely to deliver notifications to your device)
  • App usage data (screens viewed, features used)
  • Device type and operating system version

Information we do not collect:

  • Payment or financial information (all purchases are made through our Shopify store)
  • Precise GPS location
  • Contacts, photos, or camera (unless you upload a profile photo)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and maintain your account
  • Display your profile, scores, and rankings on leaderboards
  • Enable messaging, friend connections, and social features within the App
  • Send push notifications about friend requests, messages, score reviews, events, and promotions (you may opt out in your device settings or App notification settings)
  • Review and approve score submissions and gaming account verifications
  • Investigate reports of prohibited conduct and enforce our Terms of Service
  • Improve the App and diagnose technical issues

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

Service providers:

  • Supabase (supabase.com) — database, authentication, and file storage. Your data is stored on Supabase-hosted infrastructure.
  • Expo / Expo Push Notification Service (expo.dev) — used to deliver push notifications to your device.

Other users:

  • Your display name, username, gaming accounts, and leaderboard scores are visible to other users of the App.
  • Messages you send are visible to other participants in that conversation.

Legal reasons:

  • We may disclose your information if required by law, to respond to legal process, or to protect the rights and safety of our users or the public.

Business transfers:

  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred to the successor entity.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App's services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at tiltedgamingtcg@gmail.com. Note that some information (such as message history in group chats involving other users) may be retained in aggregate form.

5. Push Notifications

The App may send push notifications to your device. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device's operating system settings or through the notification preferences within the App. Disabling notifications does not affect your ability to use the App.

6. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at tiltedgamingtcg@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your account and personal data
